Continuing my journey of environmental statements about the state of the world and our breakneck path of destruction, I tried to frame out a juxtaposition of surrealist scenes and text.   Some of the works I felt could stand alone but many I worked on went through multiple iterations that eventually ended up being abandoned.  I asked myself are these really helping the cause of protecting the planet or just too subtle to be effectual.  I think there needs to be a purpose in every artist’s work but the means to carry this out without being pandering or kitsch is immensely challenging.
